Bark.com

Bark.com is a project bidding website that is based in the United Kingdom. Their goal is to help businesses find a good bookkeeper or accountant but they work in many other fields too.

The problem with Bark.com and other project bidding sites like Airtasker.com is that their main goal is to build their own brand and their own profile – NOT yours.

Bark reaches out to as many bookkeepers, BAS Agents and Accountants as they can find and then uses Google Ads to find leads and almost spams you with constant leads they receive. You then need to compete with other bookkeepers in their system.

Some of these bookkeeping leads are from tiny businesses who are looking for the cheapest possible price but you won’t know that until you pay your lead fee

EzyLearn student and Registered BAS Agent, Jo-Anne, used Bark.com when she first started her business. Hear about her journey starting a bookkeeping business.

The best alternative is to create a WordPress website and learn how to use Google Ads yourself to attract website traffic and convert that traffic to real people via an online inquiry form.
