Are hidden office admin and business admin jobs available in Swag? The Seek alternative

Are you tired of submitting your resume to job after job only to get the same automated response?

Do you ever notice where these emails come from?

Most of these messages are system generated and if you get one at least that employer cares about your feelings! We’ve noticed that more and more jobs are becoming available on sites other than the leading job, SEEK.

The most noticeable has been

Indeed,
Linkedin and
SWAG.

SWAG?, yes SWAG, but who are they?

SWAG is a job board from Employment Hero, a well funded technology startup that has a number of different online systems to help businesses manage their staff for shifts, onboarding, training and staff benefits.

You may recall from my previous blog post that Employment Hero bought the company that QuickBooks Online uses for their Payroll Solution for Australian users!

Swag is probably the most compelling tech story that has a chance at competing effectively against Seek.

Most of the job seeking tools available in Swag are similar to Seek:

Your profile
Jobs
Saved resumes and cover letters
Job Applications
Application Tracking

The biggest difference is their focus on promoting the use of Artificial intelligence in most aspects of the job search, matching and application process.

Being the company that also owns a payroll management software platform they are in tight with a wide number of employers.

Could that be the difference between Sway and Seek – will it uncover the hidden jobs in Office and Business Administration?
