Intuit is hunting for ways of helping their software become more relevant to Australian small business owners.
They recently sent me an email offering to pay $25 for my thoughts. What do you think I did?
I did what I think many people would do and clicked the link. I was taken to a website that didn’t have any intuit branding on it and was asked lots of questions about my business and my position within the company!
We see all the correspondence from Intuit and found it interesting that the same email went out to both QuickBooks Online users and Mailchimp users.
What is interesting about Intuits latest sales survey is that you’ll only get paid $25 if you qualify but you don’t find out until the end of the survey!
In fact you you don’t even get to find out what the criteria is and if you don’t fit it you’ll complete the sales survey and be left with an empty feeling. Do you know why?
This Intuit Survey is aimed at helping them build up the prospects in their sales pipeline and help them understand what their currently clients are using and are likely to use.
Will Intuit buy a CRM, Project Management or Social Media marketing business?
I’m no survey expert but this recent survey gave me the impression that Intuit is searching for a new acquisition in the following sectors:
This seems to be the only product related question because the rest of the survey questions were about my position in the company and who decides on which software we use!
This sales survey question is the one that made me think they’ll be entering the social media space.
QuickBooks Course changes
One thing is certain – they are changing their software and we are currently going through a review and updates for all our Intuit QuickBooks Courses.
