The ‘Best Xero Course in Australia’?! That’s a pretty big claim. You might be wondering how EzyLearn can attach this line to our Xero courses, and what actually makes our courses the best?
Well, it’s not just because EzyLearn has over 25 years’ experience in developing training content and helping students achieve their goals. And it isn’t just the feedback we’ve been getting from our course graduates about how their course helped them find work, upskill, and gain confidence.
EzyLearn’s market research helps us to see what people are looking for in a course, what other business offer, and what pricing is best. But what is market research, and how does it lead to our Xero courses being the best in Australia? Here’s what you need to know:
Buy now pay later (BNPL) services are growing in popularity for many retailers. If you’ve been in store recently, or even online shopping as you go to click ‘proceed to checkout’, you might have noticed a poster or button that advertises how you can pay for your purchase in easy instalments.
Afterpay and PayPal are just two companies that provide BNPL options for customers. We’ve started to make all our MYOB, Xero and Excel courses available on PayPal’s Buy Now Pay Later platform: PayPal Pay in 4
The best part is that you can use the discount coupons to reduce the price of each course and then pay it on instalments!
The Australian government launched STP in 2016, where employers with over 9 employees must report their payroll information for each pay run to the ATO. When the ATO introduced STP Phase 2 earlier this year, some of the reporting obligations changed.
Here’s what you need to know about STP Phase 2 reporting in Xero, and how EzyLearn’s got you covered with the training.
Invoices can be a hassle for both businesses and their clients. There’s nothing fun about chasing up that client about their late payment, nor is it an efficient use of time to trawl through emails and inboxes trying to find that invoice from however long ago.
The Commonwealth Government is pushing ahead with an alternative, that looks like it will make things a bit easier for everyone.
eInvoicing is on the rise! And since software like Xero has jumped in on the change, it’s important for small businesses to know what eInvoicing is all about:
Xero has recently announced its updated product features, and they include improvements to integrations, interfaces, and information.
We updates our Xero Training Course content regularly and every student gets 12 months course access and support – this includes access to all updated and additional course content. Here’s a rundown of recent changes Xero have made to their software.
Xero My Payroll is a secure online portal that allows employees to submit timesheets, leave requests, view and download payslips, and manage their personal information. It’s not as powerful as some Workforce Management Apps but that is why Xero purchased Planday!
With so many integrations, Xero has become a leading software for small business accounting. From ecommerce add-ons to payroll and workforce management software, there is a Xero integration for most aspects of business management and administration. It’s little wonder that Xero Courses are becoming so popular.
And credit management is no exception. Chaser HQ is a credit management app that promotes its ability to automate the whole process: from credit checks to chasing up invoices. It’s a UK-based company, but its integration with Xero could see it being used more and more by accounting staff globally, including Australia.
HubSpot is a marketing system and CRM built for the modern day content marketing professional. Like most cloud-based services they have their own app store (they call it an ecosystem) and Xero recently boasted about being one of a select group of 16 promoted by Hubspot. They didn’t fair so well though.
Xero Accounting software offers inventory management features in their standard software but it has never been spectacular for companies where solid inventory management matters.
I saw that first hand when I was speaking with the owner of a Boating Sales, Repair and Retail business. That business ended up migrating AWAY from Xero and started using QuickBooks Online instead. This changes everything.
Fortnite publisher Epic Games is splitting their software into two versions because of a fight they’ve decided to pick with Apple over the fees that Apple earn from apps in their Appstore. MYOB recently made a decision to discontinue their Mac version of accounting software called MYOB AccountEdge because of a change in the iOS software that runs most Apple PC’s.
Accounting Edge has been the long time relative of MYOB AccountRight for Windows devices and if a feature was available in one version it was often quite similar in AccountingEdge, but Apple made a change and MYOB can no longer update their software to keep up – NO WONDER they’ve been pushing their “Xero competing” version, MYOB Essentials so hard! Here’s what they had to say. Continue reading Sorry Apple, but MYOB is opting out of AccountEdge because of Catalina
My first thought when a software company changes its navigation (in a significant way) is that there were issues with the previous version.
THIS BLOG POST comes in the wake of Xero promising to improve their navigation in October 2018. Xero has now subsequently released those changes and our online support team are receiving lots of requests for help!
First and foremost, if you’re an EzyLearn student, please note that we’ve already created an update addressing the navigational updates and this is available in all of our online Xero Training Courses.
Cloud Accounting Software is CONSTANTLY Updated – SO IS OUR XERO COURSE
When I made the decision to convert EzyLearn from a Bricks and Mortar training centre to an online only provider of training courses I realised that we were going to have to get good at:
online digital marketing,
online pre-sales and student support, and
course content creation.
EzyLearn has been in business helping job seekers, business owners, managers and clients of rehabilitation providers learn how to use software for over 20 years. Read our story here..
I’m lucky today to have a professional team who’s sole focus is on getting better at all of these tasks – every week! I guess this post is as much a thank you to all of them for their help as it is an announcement that ALL of our XERO courses have recently been updated!
Beginners and Advanced Xero Training Course updates
Almost every course has been touched in our latest updates but here is a summary:
Available to New, Current Students and LIFELONG Students
The usual time to finish the COMPLETE set of Beginners to Advanced Xero Courses is 3 weeks but one of the reasons we offer 12 months course access (and the LIFETIME Xero Course Access) is so that students can go back and review the contents when they need it in their business or job.
