When I operated training centres in Sydney most of the sales were made by phone. We’d advertise our course in the local paper, highlighting our phone number and encouraging students to call and enrol into a course. It was labour intensive and not that secure when you think that we were taking down students credit card details over the phone.

Then we introduced learning on demand where students could learn any topic they wanted during our opening hours and we introduced our first online form to take enrolments – the results were miraculous. We’ve subsequently made many changes to that form since then.

We didn’t have to be in the office to take enrolments, students could enrol whenever they were ready and we had a central database of all our students and the courses they enrolled into. Best still, this information was all emailed automatically into our Customer Service software system. You can now learn these skills in the Microsoft Forms Course.

Benefits of using Online Microsoft forms:

There are so many reasons to use an online form but here are just a few of them.

Microsoft Forms Training course - Online Form Builder for Sales and Marketing - EzyLearn Pty Ltd
  1. Convenience: Online forms provide a convenient way for users to submit information from the comfort of their own homes or anywhere with internet access, eliminating the need for paper forms or physical visits.
  2. Time efficiency: Filling out online forms is typically faster than traditional paper forms, as users can easily navigate through the required fields and skip unnecessary sections.
  3. Accuracy: Online forms can include validation rules and error prompts, reducing the chances of users submitting incomplete or incorrect information. This helps ensure accuracy and saves time on manual data verification.
  4. Cost-effectiveness: Online forms eliminate the costs associated with printing, distributing, and storing physical forms. Additionally, digital submission and automation can reduce the need for manual data entry, saving time and resources.
  5. Accessibility: Online forms can be accessed and filled out from anywhere, making it easier for individuals with physical disabilities, those in remote areas, or those with time constraints to provide the necessary information.
  6. Data management: Online forms streamline data collection and organization. The data submitted through online forms can be automatically stored in a database, making it easier to search, analyze, and retrieve information when needed.
  7. Integration and automation: Online form platforms often integrate with other software and tools, allowing for seamless data transfer and automation. This can include integrations with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, email marketing platforms, or payment gateways, saving time and effort.

Overall, online forms offer efficiency, accuracy, cost savings, accessibility, and enhanced data management capabilities compared to traditional paper-based forms. You can learn about these benefits in the Microsoft Forms course.

Microsoft Forms Course included in Microsoft Office Suite

The first online form builder I used was called Wufoo and the magic with this form builder was that we could embed some HTML code into a page on our website and the form would appear on that page.

We could then embed the form on another page and any number of other pages and the same form would appear no matter where we embedded it.

This meant that we could make one change in the online form builder and the resulting changes would automatically appear on those pages without any need to go to each page to make the change – this seemed like absolute magic!

The beauty of Microsoft Office forms is that the data entered into the forms can go directly into a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet that can be shared with multiple collaborators. This means that orders and entries can be acted on quickly resulting in great customer service.

I admit that I am a Google user in most the applications I use and Google offer their very powerful Google Forms alternative but a lot of people I speak to prefer the user experience they are familiar with using Microsoft products. In typical fashion Microsoft make their online form builder available as part of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs so you don’t need to pay any extra money.

Pre enrol into the Microsoft Forms Course now and you can have a say in some of the features we include in the course – let us know how you want to use Microsoft Forms in your business.
